"Deo... Deo... "

The voice carried long through the still night air. Subconsciously, Deo knew something was amiss, and his mind woke him up. 

"Huh? Wha..?", he mumbled, groggily. Raising himself to a semi-sitting position, he sleepily scanned the surroundings. It was in the dark of late-night, and nothing could be seen, beyond the dim walls of the castle.

"Deo.."

"Tara? Tara?!", Deo asked, anxiously, at the night air. "Is that you,
 Tara?!"

"Deo.. Please.. Listen to me.. Your life is in grave danger.."

"Tara! Where are you!", Deo yelled, confused.

"Deo.. You must flee this tower!"

Deo was lost, completely. Tara was with him.. somehow, telling him to flee.
Yet, because she was here, he wanted to stay. His mind and heart tore at each other, and he nearly broke down into tears, unable to trust his heart or his mind.

"Tara..? Where..?", he asked, his voice shaking.

"Deo! You must go! Hurry!!", the voice surrounding Deo said, with increasing urgency. "I don't want your fate to be like mine!"

"B-b-but..? Tara..? Where are you? I've missed you so!", Deo cried, still at odds between his mind and his heart.

"Deo! I've missed you too! But now is not your time! you must go!", the voice said, softly but sternly. "Now, go!"

At this, Deo's heart and mind re-unite, and he made up his mind. Turning towardsthe stairs from whence he came up here, he bolted down as fast as possible, now totally awake.
