Deedlit is young and beautiful, with golden hair and green eyes. She lived
in Forest of No Return, the gateway between Realm of Faries and human world.
She is the youngest in her tribe. Because some evil force is awaking across
all of Lodoss, Deedlit is sent out to human world to investage the reason.
In OVA, she joins up with Parn after a harrowing conflit with goblins, but
in original novel, they meet at Allan, capital of Allania,when Deedlit is
having a quarrel with some bad guys, Parn helps her out. Deedlit is
attracted to Parn, but also infuriated by his lock of interest (The only
thing Parn can think of is to become the Holy Knight his father was and save
the world). Deedlit is a skilled fighter, she can summon elemental spirits
and use their powers as well. In OVA, she summon Sylph (spirit of wind) and
Undine (spirit of water) to help her. But in original novels, she makes
allies with lots more spirits, such were Jin (king of wind spirits), Efreet
(spirit of fire) and Phonix (king of fire spirits). Deedlit doesn't get
along well with Gim (dwarf worrior). Because Elves are fairies of forest,
with attribute of light; Dwarves are fairies of ground, with attribute of
darkness. They often trade sarcastic comment about each other, but she
really does like Gim though. There are many different stages that didn't
really come out or develop fully in the OVA series. In the original novels,
there are a lot more characters and events.
