When I posted the last spell, which was actually the first spell Miltofopanistusantony Ronclotoctindinternagel ever invented of his own accord, I posted it to Patrick alone. Now, in the sequel, I decided to send to the group. Feel free to flame if you wish, but this is what happens when you start a 1st level character, and persevere with him to higher levels. ########################################################################## ####################THE STORY BEGINS###################################### ########################################################################## As a breif history, Milt. was born into the Mages Guild. Both parents were executive officers. Thus Milt. had a lot of guidance in the magics he was taught. He learned quickly, surpassing all his father had tuaght him,... and on, and on,... I'm sure you've all heard the routine. At any rate, he hooked up with an adventuring party, in his mid twenties (around 5th level), which was searching for an artifact. This artifact was to be retrieved for a leige the party was LOYAL to. No greed factor. To ensure this, the DM made sure we realized that the item was utterly useless to us personally. Along the way, Milt. saved a young boy from a half-orc in a brawl that erupted in the street, (1st ed.) while the rest of the party watched. The boys dad, a fellow mage, was so happy that he petitioned the local mages guild to reward Milt. for his selfless act. (I know, it sounded corny to me too.) Milt.'s intelligence was magically increased. As he adventured, he sought and quested for intelligence. He sought knowledge of all things, and by 13th level, no longer required a spellbook. He was able to completely and unerringly contain his spellbook in his mind with photographic memory. Now he is 25th level, and is a minor God. He has been producing spells of his own for some time now. These are a FEW of his magics: YES, HE HAS AN AFFINITY FOR DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Charm Dragon 7th level spell Enchantment School Casting time: 2rounds Duration: 1week/10 levels of the mage Save: vs Spell modified up or down per 2 points of the dragon above or below 15. Sanctuary does not work. 1D8 is rolled to determine type. 1= Gold 2-3= Silver 4-5= Black 6-7= Blue 8= Red DRAGON FORM 8th level spell Alteration Casting time: 10 rounds Duration: 1rnd/point CON/6 levels caster Effect: Caster (or spell recipient) takes the form of a dragon. 1d20 is rolled: 1= red dragon 24HD 2= green dragon 20HD 3= white dragon 14HD 4= blue dragon 10HD 5= black dragon 7HD 6= red youth 6HD 7=black hatchling 1HD 8-19= failure (loss of 10pts CON, temp recover 1/hr) 20= Gold (duration/2) Milt's Miniature Alteration Casting time:3rnds Duration:special Save:vs paralyzation Effect: When the 'victim' is frozen, hold person, the caster must place a piece of mithril in front of him, in back of him, and on both sides. A diamond must then be drawn between these mithril pieces, without touching the mithril once they are placed. The mage must then cast the spell. No to hit roll, because the victim is frozen. An intelligence check must be made though. If successful, the victim assumes the form of a small mithril miniature. The mithril pieces are used up in the spell. If the miniature is sold, stolen, or posessed by anyone other than the caster, the spell is broken and the victim enlarges at a very fast rate, the mithril pieces appear, end of story. Ditto if the caster dies. If the victim comes out of the hold person spell before the spell is cast, it is negated. If the miniature is destroyed, broken, melted, the victim is DEAD. Milt. had a Figurine of Wondrous Power (owl) at a point in his adventures. He liked it, and designed a way to use this new spell to create a collection of figurines [Much like the pewter ones you can purchase at hobbie shops]. You see, whatever position the victim is in when the hold person spell takes effect, is the pose the figurine will be in, so it is very much like the pewter miniatures. Items become miniature as well. Magical items posessed by the victim are subject to a save vs paralyzation with a +2 bonus. If failed, they are mithrilized as well. Milt. has a collection in his chambers that numbers over fifty. These are characters that would be freed if they were brought off the island on which his stronghold is located. Miltofopanistusantony
