Subject:      Spell of Doom

We were chatting this after (me and a few other gamers) discussing the
various merits of Chain Lightning spells, when it occured to us that
an 8th level spell of incredible rarity was missing, and so, let me present:

Call Chain Lightning - 8th Level Mage Spell

Range - As per Call Lightning and Chain Lightning
Duration  - As Call Lightning
Area of Effect - As Chain Lightning
Casting Time - As Call Lightning + Chain Lightning
Components - V,S,M
Saving Throw - Save for Half damage

This spell functions, in all respects, as the Priest spell Call Lightning,
except in the followiung regards:  each bolt of Called lightning functions
exactly as the Wizard spell Chain lightning.

This Spell should be one of GREATEST scarcity and secrecy.  It would be sought
by ANY Lord looking toward world domiation and would NOT be given or traded
for other spells.  Allegedly created by the long missing Lich Vecna, the incan
incantation has surfaced other three times since his mad bid for supremace.
On each occasion of its surfacing, it was used in such a way as to call down the
wrath of a certain Lord of the Elements, Zeus, from whom the spell was stolen.
To date, no wizard has successfully called upon this power without having his
soul destroye by the greatest of the Olympians.  Perhaps YOU will be the first
to escape this fate...  but probably not...  heh heh.
